MoviePoopShoot.com is a website dedicated to covering film, TV, comics, adult collectables (& toys), video games, books, and music.

MoviePoopShoot.com originally was a fictional website created for the film Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.

Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.

It figured fairly prominently in the plot as it was the website on which Jay and Silent Bob discover some very vocal forum posts that complain about just how much a movie about Jay and Silent Bob would suck.

Bluntman & Chronic is the worst comic I ever read. Jay and Silent Bob are stupid characters. A couple of stoners who spout dumb-ass catch-phrases like a third rate 'Cheech and Chong' or 'Bill and Ted'. Fuck Jay and Silent Bob. Fuck them up their stupid asses.

Any movie based on those two is gonna lick balls, because they both, in fact, lick balls.

P.S. - 'Clash of the Titans' doesn't stand the test of time.

In February of 2006 Chris Ryall (the site's Manager of Operations Etc.) and Scott Tipton left the site. In that same month, several of the columns formerly running on MoviePoopShoot moved to Comics101.com

Several months after Chris Ryall's departure, it was decided that MoviePoopShoot.com would undergo a name change to go along with the change in management. Announced by Kevin Smith, the new name of the site was to be: QuickStopEntertainment.com, a reference to the name of the convenience store that the main characters from his first film Clerks., worked in.

This decision was primarily two fold. One, Kevin felt that having the word "movie" in the domain name of a site that was really meant to be concerned with many different sorts of media (movies, TV, comics, music, books, etc.) was a little misleading if nothing else. Two, the name "MoviePoopShoot.com" was always a little crass and, as much as he may have delighted in hearing people having to say it, the name could be awkward for columnists to have to say in a professional setting. The change in management offered an opportune moment to resolve both these issues, and change the name of the site.

On June 25th, 2006 QuickStopEntertainment.com officially made it's debut.
