On a more personal note, good job on the Diocese of Niagara article. I "wikified" it a bit - involving mostly uniform formatting and linking to other pages. As an internet encyclopedia, Wikipedia is able to take advantage of hyperlinks, and easily link related topics.
I also noticed your edit to the Fonthill article, and just wanted to drop a hint. You have added links to St. Catharines and Niagara Falls. However, if you look closer, both cities are already linked earlier on in the article. The Manual of Style says it's a bad thing if
- a link is repeated in the same article (although there may be case for duplicating an important link that is distant from the previous occurrence)
Since the article is rather short and fits on one screen as it is, I feel that the double link is not warrantied. Also, this is more of a personal preference for me, but although St. Catharines ends up redirecting to St. Catharines, Ontario anyway, I prefer to link directly to the desired article. Among other things, this reduces server load. Since the Ontario part is unsightly, you can pipe the link like you did with the Niagara Falls one.
Thanks, and enjoy editing! --Qviri (talk) 14:47, 10 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Diocese of Niagara
If you have other ideas of how to approach it, by all means let me know. But we have to put it in the article. It was real news. Carolynparrishfan 15:39, 28 April 2006 (UTC)
