Mountain Island, North Carolina

Mountain Island is a small island located in Mountain Island Lake (on the border of Gaston County, North Carolina and Mecklenburg County, North Carolina). Located on the extreme southern end of the lake, the island is mainly used as an anchor point for recreation, picnicing, and camping.
