Mount Pleasant High School is a secondary school location in San Jose, California which educates grades 9 through 12. It is a part of the East Side Union High School District. The school's athletics teams are known as the Cardinals. The school's colors are red, black, and white.

Senior Military Instructor is Lieutenant Colonel Michael Francis Clough and their Marine Instructor is Master Sergeant James Sherrod. Mount Pleasant Marine Corps JROTC Rifle Drill Team won 3rd place in their annual Silver Creek Field Meet for 2007 for Drill with arms. Their acting Cadet Drill Team and Company Executive Officer is Cadet Major Michael Taylor.
