Mount Gibraltar

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Mount Gibraltar is a small mountain between Bowral and Mittagong in New South Wales, Australia.

It is thought to have been created by an 'igneous intrusion' rather than a volcano.

The mountain has many lookouts and is 861m above sea level.

It was previously the site of a granite quarry (trachite). It now has three good lookout points over Bowral and Mittagong.
