Mount Anville Secondary School

Mount Anville Secondary School is a Roman Catholic, all-girls post-primary school in South County Dublin in Ireland. It was originally an all-boarding school, but in recent years due to decreased demand it has become a day-school. It has approximately 600 students, and is attached to Mount Anville Junior School, Mount Anville National School and Mount Anville Montessori School.
It was established in 1853 by nuns of the Order of the Sacred Heart in the former home of Mr. William Dargan, an influential railway tycoon.
It is also a good sporting school, especially in hockey, tennis and netball. Many former students have gone on to play for Ireland at the international level. In addition to academics and sport, the school participates in charity work, art, music, and drama.
Mount Anville has a relationship with the nearby boys' school Blackrock College, often staging dramatic presentations and concerts together.
Students receive a well rounded education. Past pupils include former President of Ireland and current UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Mary Robinson
