[edit] Reading spark plugs for racing

I hope you're not discouraged by your experience on Wikipedia so far and will choose to stay with us. In think the problem with Reading spark plugs for racing is that the technical depth of your contributions far exceed the current knowledge in Wikipedia and people don't know what to make of the contributions. I happily write obsure equations in trajectory, horsepower or siphon and no one objects because it's a logical growth of existing material. Perhaps we can work together to rewrite and move parts of your material to spark plug. With enough existing background in that article, we can then logically grow it into an expert article on racing. Feel free to email me at samwsamw at gmail.com Samw 14:29, 7 Apr 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Images

You seem to be uploading many very similar images. Did you know that you can upload a new image on top of an old one (by giving them the same name) if they are just simple modifications of each other? Also please put an image copyright tag on all of your images to indicate that they may be legally used (or else they may eventually be deleted). Thanks. BrokenSegue 20:48, 20 Apr 2005 (UTC)

P.S. if their are any images you don't plan on using put {{db|user requests deletion}} on it to have it deleted. BrokenSegue 20:51, 20 Apr 2005 (UTC)
I deleted all of the images you tagged. Remeber to add that copyright tag to all images you upload or else they will eventually be deleted. If you made it you can relese it as a public documents by typing {{PD}} or release it under GNU FDL by typing {{GFDL}}. Thanks! BrokenSegue 21:38, 20 Apr 2005 (UTC)

[edit] The copyright tags on your images

Two images that you uploaded, Image:!!jpg reduced 25pc no comp no decrease.gif and Image:!jpg 25 time 1-4 decrease 5comp.gif are tagged with both {{fairuse}} and {{GFDL}}. Under copyright law, these two copyright permissions conflict with each other. Please choose one or the other. Thanks. Zzyzx11 (Talk) 02:17, 24 May 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Image:Action hemi omni.jpg listed for deletion

An image or media file that you uploaded, Image:Action hemi omni.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion. Please look there to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you.

ZsinjTalk 23:52, 15 February 2006 (UTC)

Technically, you do not have this image on your user page. This is a duplicate of the image you currently have. Also, this duplicate is not linked to anything. Hence, this duplicate can be deleted without any collateral damage. --ZsinjTalk 01:14, 16 February 2006 (UTC)

The image on your user page is Image:Action_hemi_omni_pd.jpg. I hope this clears up any misunderstanding. --ZsinjTalk 01:16, 16 February 2006 (UTC)
There really is nothing to worry about. You'll still have your picture, so you won't be able to see any changes. We are just taking an accidental copy of that picture and deleting it to save space on our servers. Hope this clears it up and happy editing! --ZsinjTalk 01:31, 16 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image Tagging Image:Cardinal reynard.jpg

Warning sign
This media may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Cardinal reynard.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{GFDL-self}} to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other media, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Shyam (T/C) 16:55, 3 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Port modification2.GIF

Thanks for uploading Image:Port modification2.GIF. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me, or ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Rory096 20:35, 1 May 2006 (UTC)

I've nominated Reading spark plugs for racing, an article you created, for deletion. [edit] License tagging for Image:Lysholm screw rotors.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Lysholm screw rotors.jpg. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 00:11, 18 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Velocity stack

I came across the term 'velocity stack' with regards to the engine intake components and tried to find some information on them online but came away empty handed. Do you know anything about them? Feel up to the task of writing an article about them? Regards, --Hooperbloob 13:00, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
