Motu-Mute Airport

Motu-Mute Airport is an airport on Bora Bora in French Polynesia (IATA: BOB, ICAO: NTTB). The airport is 7 km north of Vaitape (Motu-Mute). In 2006, 315,239 passengers utilized the airport.[1]
Motu-Mote Airport was opened in 1943, during World War II. Commercial service became available in 1958 after the runway was redone. The airport is built on a motu located in a lagoon. A boat transfer is necessary to get to the main island.[2]
