Motorway Patrol is a New Zealand Police show. Police pull over people on the motorways (freeways) of Auckland for all sorts of reasons, including dangerous driving, speeding and when vehicles are 'unroadworthy'. There are major road accidents, Speeding fines, people caught with drugs and much more.

The show is made by Greenstone Pictures who can be found at [[1]] and has been running for a number of years. 8 series have been made to date (Dec '06) as well as a number of themed specials. The show is watched by very many viewers in New Zealand but also has a very large following in Australia and the UK.

It is on at 7:30pm - 8:30 on Channel Nine in Australia at the moment and usually 10pm on TV2 in New Zealand as well as on the cable channel Men and Motors in the UK. It is filmed on the motorways around and in Auckland, New Zealand. There is normally plenty of drama and action.

Each show is between 21'30" and 22'30" (excluding ads) as per TVNZ transmission guidelines and fills a 30 minute TV slot.
