Motor Ed
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Eddy Lipsky (a.k.a.: Motor Ed) is a fictional character in Disney's animated television series Kim Possible.
Motor Ed's original name is Eddy Lipsky, being a cousin of Drew Lipsky (Doctor Drakken). He is a former government scientist. Motor Ed is a muscle-car-obsessed mechanical genius who was fired for not conforming to dress code (he refused to cut his mullet). He and his gang of master mechanics hang out in a junkyard in New Jersey. His name is most probably a play on Motörhead, name of a famed British heavy-metal band.
His plot is to build a really big monster truck so he can "Crush stuff, and keep on crushing it until I've turned the whole world into one humongous, rocking scrapyard!"
He is best known for constantly ending sentences with the word "Seriously", and playing air guitar while screaming "Yeeeah!"
He also claims to love Shego because "She's got the green magic! Yeeeah! Seriously.", as well as "Man, I love a woman who can scrap!", and (saying to Shego) "Do you believe in love at first sight, or should I walk by again. 'Cause I would totally walk by again." Shego, for her part is not the slightest bit interested in him, and regularly blasts him with her green energy for his chauvinistic comments.
Voiced by John DiMaggio, who also does Drakken as well as other additional voices.
[edit] Appearances
Motor Ed has appeared four times, in Motor Ed, Steal Wheels, and Car Alarm, and cameoed in Mad Dogs and Aliens.
In Motor Ed, Kim, Ron and Felix Renton first meet Motor Ed, and end his plan of random destruction.
Later, in Steal Wheels, Drakken and Motor Ed team up, and build the "Doomvee" (see Humvee), a vicious automobile built using technology from Felix's futuristic wheelchair. If you look closely, you'll see that the license plate says, "Seriously"! It is in this episode where it is revealed that Ed and Drakken are cousins.
In his second appearance, Motor Ed claims that he could have beaten Kim and Ron without the help of Felix. Apparently, Motor Ed seems to see Felix as his own personal "arch-enemy".
In Car Alarm, Motor Ed busts Shego out of prison to aid him in the theft of an experimental rocket, which he intends to modify his car with. Whereas Shego believes that he plans to cause destruction by using the force of the rockets, Ed's true goal is to cruise in his souped-up car with a cute girl by his side (he is unaware of exactly how powerful the rockets really are, and seriously unaware that Shego does not appreciate being treated as an accessory).
In Mad Dogs and Aliens, Ed does not have a lead role as a villain, however, he cameoed at the very end of the episode during the credits. After Drakken is busted out of prison, Motor Ed takes his cousin's place in Cell Block D as Frugal Lucre's cellmate. Ed's consistent paddling and annoying, indistinguishable car lingo drives Lucre crazy. Ironically though, while cellmates, Lucre annoyed Dr. Drakken with the same action.
