[edit] Role in the story
Motoko is the president of the Prince Yuki Fan Club at Kaibara High School. She mostly admires Yuki from afar and only rarely does she actually speak to him. When Motoko and the Fan Club members see that Tohru and Yuki have been spending alot of time together, they come up with a plan called "Operation: Destroy Tohru Honda". They believe that Tohru is a witch, who is getting her "powers" from her friend Hana. (Saki Hanajima), who they call 'Electric Girl', and using the powers to win over Prince Yuki. Motoko and members of the Fan Club go to Hana's house, hoping to find her weakness and use it to cut off her powers. However, Hana's mysterious little brother scares them away and "Operation: Destroy Tohru Honda" fails.
As the end of the school year approaches, Motoko realizes that she must win over Prince Yuki before it's to late. She calls upon the skills of Rika, a member, to break into the Student Council Office to find out if there will be any girls on the school council the following year that might try to steal Prince Yuki. Upon getting the door open, Motoko and Rika find Yuki inside planning for the class trip. Motoko realizes that his may be her last chance to confess her true feelings and convince Yuki that they are meant to be. When the opportunity arises, Motoko concludes that she need to say something witty and intelligent to win the Prince's heart. However, she ends up asking him what he had for breakfast.
In Volume 17 Motoko asked for Yuki to meet her after school to tell him something important, her intentions were to tell him how she really feels about him, but her plan back-fires and Yuki turns her down. However she seemed ok with it. The Prince Yuki Fan Club were excited to find out what happened, but she wouldn't tell them.
