Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Mothers of Preschoolers, commonly referred to as MOPS, provides encouragement and support to young mothers of preschool children. The organization hosts a web site through which interconnectivity, communication, and information are available. Mothers can identify and join a local group or start one of their own using the tools provided through the organization's web site.
A typical local MOPS program includes crafts, coffee, guest speakers, and friendship. Child care may also be available. Groups are organized for day time or night time meetings.
