Mothadaka

Mothadaka is a village 22 KM from Guntur and 16 KM from Amaravathi. It is a beautiful village suronded by three mountains on three sides. The village represents the rural culture. The population of the village is 2700, the majority of which are Hindus (Chowdharies). Other religious groups are Muslims and christians. Even with this religious diversity Mothdaka is very peaceful.

The village has a Lord Shiva temple, Lord Anjineya temple, Lord Rama Temple, a Mosque, a Church and a recently built the Sai Baba temple. Mothadaka is also the home of some of the computerised banking facilities of the State Bank of India (code:1915).
