[edit] Beginnings Of The Band
The band started when its original members — Rodrigo and Billy — got reunited to do music only for fun without achieving a worldwide career. Both recorded their songs in music studios and rehearsals. They continued working for many months until the creation of their band. Then they played music like a duo in bars in Mexico D.F. an dhtey invited José Damián (drums) and Rubén Puente (bass) to form part of Motel.[1]
Years later, after they entered the musical market of Mexico and other countries in Latin America, they released their debut single Dime Ven.
Their debut album was released in late 2005, named by the band, "Motel".
Also, they wrote a song for the TV comedy, Skimo, transmited in Nickelodeon Latinamerica. The title of the song is called "Skimo es el lugar".
