Mosvik og Verran

Mosvik og Verran is a former municipality in Nord-Trøndelag county, Norway.
It was created on 1 January 1867 by a split from Ytterøy. At that time Mosvik og Verran had a population of 2,949.
On 1 January 1901 Mosvik og Verran was split to create two municipalities: Mosvik with a population of 969 and Verran with a population of 1,456. These two municipalities still exist today.
