Mosul International Airport (IATA: OSM, ICAO: ORBM) is an airport located at Mosul, Iraq, a concrete runway. Originally built in the 1920's as a military base by Great Britain, it became a civil airport in 1992 with the construction of terminal. Air crews use runway 15 to land, and 33 to take off in the highly unstable situation in Iraq. Currently it is scheduled to undergo major renovations to be able to reach international standards, and category 1 status.
