Moscrop Secondary School is a publicly operated secondary school in Burnaby, British Columbia. It is the only high school in School District 41 to offer the French Immersion program. Currently Moscrop Secondary has students from grades 8 to 12.
Until recently Moscrop Secondary was a Junior High, with only grades 8 to 10. The school’s small physical building suffered from strains after expanding its capacity to grades 11 and 12. Students often complain about the crowded hallways, even after a renovation which expanded and renewed the facilities to a large extent.
As one of the top schools in the district, it is home to many intellectuals and accomplished individuals in various fields of study ranging from Mathematics to Information Technology to Physical Education. The school strives for a friendly atmosphere and cooperative learning environment, while encouraging healthy competition.
