Who am I?
I am an Finland-Swedish engineer with a lot of different interests. I am originally from Ostrobothnia in Finland, but I moved to Uppsala in 2005 - this is the place that I am currently calling my home, although I travel a lot.

What am I doing in the wikipedia?
I am an administrator in the Swedish wikipedia and also a member of the Swedish Arbitration Committee. Here I am merely a regular user, though an experienced one. When I write, it tends to deal with subjects about technology, science, Finland-related things and everything between heaven and earth that I can think of. I began writing in earnest in April 2005 but I have previously written under other names and as an anonymous user. I fix things that needs to be fixed and in the end I hope we can create the ultimate dictionary - the hitchiker's guide to anything. I also do a lot of translating.

The user name
The signature "MoRsE" is my oldest alias on the internet, dating from 1993. The name originates from the TV-series "Inspector Morse", which was my favourite series at that time - the idea with the majuscule-minuscule typing was "loaned" from a former classmate's signature.

What is my opinion?
I consider that the KISS principle and the Occam's razor are being abused all to often on the wikipedia. Remove clumpsy coding and make it beautiful, but do experiment! Be bold!

Projects that I am involved in
Currently I am only involved in the Military history project (Military aviation task force, World War II task force and Maritime warfare task force).
