Morton-on-Swale is a large village in North Yorkshire. It lies on the A684 road about 4 miles west of Northallerton. It is very close to a village called Ainderby Steeple. As you can tell it lies on the River Swale and there is also a railway line running near it, which eventually ends up going to Newcastle-Upon-Tyne and others.
