Mortification Records

Mortification Records is a record label founded by Mike Lachaire, in Edison, New Jersey. The record label was founded to accommodate some of the releases by bands he enjoyed of his surroundings, but has grown to distribute an entire catalogue of bands from France, Canada, and USA.

In the summer of 2006, Mike was fond of a band from his local area. He decided he would create the label to help out the band and get the label officially copyrighted. In October came the first three releases, and nine more in the following five months.
Mike has stated that he would be continuing to promote and help out the bands and releases, despite the break-ups of most of them, and that he would be looking to get working with new bands.
