Morris East

Morris East (born August 8, 1973 in Olongapo, Philippines) was a Filipino boxer.

East turned pro in 1989 and won the WBA Light Welterweight Title by TKO'ing Akinobu Hiranaka in 1992. The 11th round knockout victory over Hiranaka was named Ring Magazine Knockout of the Year for 1992. He lost the title in his first defense against Juan Martin Coggi. He never fought for a major title again and retired in 1995.
