From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Located on the east coast of Scotland Morrich More is officially described [1] as:

"one of the most outstanding coastal sites in Britain.
It is especially noteworthy for the development of an extensive low-level sandy plain on which a set of parabolic dunes are superimposed."

Morrich More is designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest and forms part a Special Area of Conservation with Dornoch Firth and falls within the Special Protection Area of Dornoch Firth and Loch Fleet.

It is to be found on the southern shore of the Dornoch Firth east of Tain.
