Morillon is a commune of the Haute-Savoie département in southern France. This small hamlet consists of about 500 year round residences and doubles as a popular summer and winter vacation destination. It has a Poma télécabine that departs from just outside the village and links up to the “Grand Massif” ski area consisting of 265km of ski runs over the five resorts of Morillon, Samoens, Flaine, Les Carroz, and Sixit. Morillon is also the home ski area of current Olympic Downhill Gold Medalist Antoine Deneriaz.

Pinot Noir from this region is commonly bottled under the Morillon label. [1]
