Morgan Pym is a character on the television series The Collector, played by Chris Kramer.

Morgan Pym was a monk in 1348 who sold his soul to the Devil to save the woman he loved, Katrina, who was dying from the plague. After 10 years The Devil came to take Morgan's soul to hell, but Morgan tried to fight the Devil.

[edit] Becoming The Collector

When Morgan was about to go to hell, The Devil offered Morgan the option to become a Collector, to send the souls of people who made deals to hell. Kneeling next to the corpse of Katrina, (the woman Morgan loved, who died when Morgan's deal ended) Morgan says "I no longer care for God, or love or life, use me as you wish" and by that Morgan accepts and become The Collector.

Pym, born on April 22, 1322, collects souls for the devil. These souls are of people who made deals with the devil; after 10 years, their soul goes to hell when their deal has expired.

On August 17, 1348 Pym made a deal with the devil to save the life of the woman he loved, Katrina, from a terrible disease. After 10 years, on August 17, 1358 (a Friday) the deal ended, Katrina died from the same disease, and the devil offered Morgan to become his collector. Morgan accepted and became Immortal, the first ever human collector.

Today he using all the trappings of modern technology to find his clients. A key dilemma for Pym is the fact that he may now seek salvation for his clients in their last 48 hours on Earth, and himself as well.
