Moral Psychiatry

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Moral Psychiatry is a term developed by Henri Baruk, in which he claims that Soranus of Ephesus employed moral methods in his treatment of insane patients.[1] Instead of simply restraining a patient other methods would be tried to reach the internal indicators of insanity, rather then the external.[2]
