Have you read Behr's paper? Please be assured that Tufan was never pronounced Tubo (ask anyoe who works on historic Chinese phonoloy, in particular where do you think the -n came from), and that the etymology discussed in Behr's paper is well established. Rehashing outdated theories should not be the perogative of Wikpedia, nor should undoing others work be that of her editors.
