[edit] References are important

In your edit of the article on Robert Tuttle you scrambled the existing references. References and external links are important. It looks like you are a new contributor. Please keep this in mind in your future edits. If you can't figure out how to edit an article without scrambling the references, please ask for help. Thanks. -- Geo Swan 20:40, 4 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Excision of material without explanation

When people make controversial edits, they often put an explanation of their edit on the talk page.

You removed some material, without any explanation. In particular you removed mention to criticism to the practice of appointing amateurs, who are not professional diplomats, to key diplomatic posts. Bush has made a practice of rewarding those who donated generously to his campaigns to key diplomatic posts. This is a significantly notable practice.

You didn't offer an explanation for your excision, so I restored that information. -- Geo Swan 20:40, 4 April 2006 (UTC)
