[edit] Wanderers played only four games

As noted in the source cited in my footnote, the Wanderers are credited in NHL record books with one win and five losses, but they only actually played four games before the Montreal/Westmount Arena burned down in January 1918. Games scheduled for January 2 and January 5 against Toronto and the Canadiens were recorded as defaults. Note that none of the Wanderer players is credited with playing a fifth or sixth game for that team. Harry Hyland, Dave Ritchie, Jack McDonald, Phil Stevens, Bert Lindsay, Gerry Geran and George O'Grady all are credited with only 4 GP. The source for this data:
