[edit] inherent unfairness

Does anybody know if this statement from the "Acclaim" section has any truth to it? "Some critics, while priaisng Theron's performance, nevertheless noted the inherent unfairness of the Oscar process: when a beautiful person volunatrily becomes ugly for a role, she is given an oscar nod." If nobody can verify it, I will delete it in one week. --GHcool 18:25, 31 March 2007 (UTC)
