[edit] Biography

[edit] Childhood

Only appearance: Operation: Z.E.R.O.

A long time ago, an evil king called Grandfather ruled the world. Like Father, he was shadowy and could project fire, etc. He forced kids to work in tapioca-making factories all day long so he could eat it and sneer, and one day one of his young sons, Monty (born in England and bears an accent), ran off in the middle of his shift. He climbed a tree while his nerdy and scared brother, Ben was trying to warn him that Grandfather was going to be really angry. The boy didn't care, and just said he wanted to try and stop Grandfather. He then leaned on the tree and fell backwards through a hidden door with his brother, Ben (who would grow up to be Father) and they slid down a slide to an ancient room. Ben wanted to go,(out of fear that Grandfather would be mad). Monty found a book: the Book of KND. He gained hope and knowledge of how to fight back (using the 2x4 technology). When Monty and Ben were about to shake hands thinking that they could defeat Grandfather together, Ben got scared after Grandfather called angrily, so he left his brother. According to Ben, Monty had zero chance, so Monty called himself Numbuh Zero. Then, with help from a group of other kids, he blew up the tapioca-making factories and set all the kids free. He was confronted with an angry Grandfather, who was about to destroy him but Numbuh Zero did it first. Grandfather was decommissioned, and Numbuh Zero was too, once he grew up, after he founded the seventh age of the KND. Some say his victory was the dawn of the seventh age of the KND; most KND operatives didn't believe Numbuh Zero existed (until the end of the events of Operation: Z.E.R.O.).

[edit] Adulthood

First appearance: Operation: O.O.M.P.P.A.H.

Monty got married, had a son, and approximently three years later moved from England to the United States, having gotten a job as 16th tuba in the local orchestra.

Many years later, few believed in Numbuh Zero because it was such a great long time ago. The known believers include Numbuh 1, Numbuh 101, and Sector E. When Father recommissioned Grandfather, he took charge and betrayed all the villains by turning them all into Senior Citizombies. Numbuh 1 tried to stop Father, but accidentally helped him recommission Grandfather. Feeling like a failure, Numbuh 1 threw his sunglasses off into a trash can, knocking it over revealing the recommissioning module (created by Numbuh Zero) thrown there by Father. Numbuh 1 then used Numbuh 101's new invention, the KNDNA Tracer, to track down Numbuh Zero. He came to his house and it said Numbuh Zero was right behind his door. Then appeared his father, Monty Uno behind the door. Then Senior Citizombies starting chasing Numbuh 1 and Monty Uno, who was clueless at the time. They then went into Numbuh 1's room where Monty Uno fell down a wall and Numbuh 1 followed him and the door leading to the place closed and the Senior Citizombies couldn't find them. Numbuh 1 was shocked since he had run lots of scans on the home and never found that place, which was "the Treehouse of Coolness". Suspicous that his father might be Numbuh Zero, Numbuh 1 recommissioned him with the module and he was right. Numbuh Zero was Numbuh 1's father, Monty Uno. This is supposedly how Numbuh 1 got all his skill. Monty Uno (now Numbuh Zero recommissioned), leading Numbuh 1, knocked on Father's door. He then came in. He then revealed Father was his brother, Benedict Uno. And also out of guess he revealed "The Delightful Children From Down The Lane" were actually the delightfulized missing Sector Z of the KND. He and Benedict then were about to fight Grandfather, but Benedict gave up again and it ended out just being Grandfather and Monty Uno. He could resist Grandfather's Senior Citizombification, and then with his father's orders and help from the rest of his team, Numbuh 1 crashed the Moonbase onto Grandfather, Numbuh Zero had been holding all while he directed the Moonbase. Grandfather was not hurt, ("Honestly, did you think 39 billion tons of red-hot metal and duct tape could hurt me, did you?") but then Numbuh Zero revealed the only remaining Decommissioning Chamber (#3) had fell right there and it decommissioned both of them. Numbuh 1 went to the Recommissioning Module to recommission Monty Uno, but it was broken and he found a video recording of his father saying that he was just an adult and had to fullfill the most important mission of all: being a good father. With tears in his eyes, Numbuh 1 understood, and Monty was clueless again.

[edit] Description

Currently, Monty Uno is clueless, like most parents in the KND world. He made his first appearance in Op OOMPPAH, where a kid, Willard, wanted him for his own father. He wanted to spend quality time with his son, Numbuh 1, and went fishing with him. Numbuh 1 got fed up with him. Again in Op END, they were fishing and both seemingly enjoying it. Monty Uno usually just wants to have quality time with his son, but Numbuh 1 wants to spend all the time with his friends. He usually embarrasses Numbuh 1. His hobbies are playing the sousaphone and fishing. Numbuh 1's dad's upper face was seen halfway through Op OOMPPAH. He has a mustache. Voiced by Frank Welker.

[edit] Trivia

  • Numbuh Zero implies that Blurpleberry may be the mysterious "Fourth Flavor" mentioned in Op. F.L.A.V.O.R. When he is recommissioned, he mentions that blurpleberry ice cream was "the closest thing to the fourth flavor he had ever tasted."
  • Numbuh Zero was originally going to be voiced by Gilbert Gottfried, but he turned down the role and Dave Wittenberg stepped in.
  • Grandfather liked Numbuh Zero more than Father.
