Montmorency is a future station on the Orange Line of the Montreal Metro in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is part of the extension of this line to Laval and is scheduled to open in 2007. Once the extension is opened, this station will become the northern terminus of the Orange Line. With the addition of the new metro stations, the Montreal Metro system is expecting to see a huge jump in the number of passengers carried throughout the system year round, and pundits believe it may rise from 750,000 daily passenger trips to over 800,000, which would make it slightly busier than Toronto's system, even though Montreal's is still smaller in comparison.
