Montfort is a village in Wisconsin, United States. The population was 663 at the 2000 census.

Montfort is located at 42°58′17″N, 90°25′59″W (42.971399, -90.432937)GR1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 1.4 km² (0.5 mi²). None of the area is covered with water.

As of the censusGR2 of 2000, there were 663 people, 252 households, and 179 families residing in the village. The population density was 483.0/km² (1,252.1/mi²). There were 273 housing units at an average density of 198.9/km² (515.6/mi²). The racial makeup of the village was 99.25% White, 0.15% African American, and 0.60% from two or more races.

There were 252 households out of which 37.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 55.2% were married couples living together, 11.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 28.6% were non-families. 23.0% of all households were made up of individuals and 13.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.63 and the average family size was 3.12.

In the village the population was spread out with 30.3% under the age of 18, 8.3% from 18 to 24, 26.2% from 25 to 44, 20.5% from 45 to 64, and 14.6% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 36 years. For every 100 females there were 95.6 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 87.0 males.

The median income for a household in the village was $37,500, and the median income for a family was $43,295. Males had a median income of $28,125 versus $21,442 for females. The per capita income for the village was $16,126. About 1.7% of families and 5.7% of the population were below the poverty line, including 4.7% of those under age 18 and 7.1% of those age 65 or over.
