Monterey Peninsula Airport (IATA: MRYICAO: KMRYFAA LID: MRY) is a regional airport located three miles (5 km) southeast of the central business district (CBD) of Monterey, a city in Monterey County, California, USA. The airport is owned by the citizens of the several municipalities that comprise the Monterey Peninsula Airport District. Its goal is to draw the Monterey Peninsula market away from Bay Area Airports, but flight fares can be much higher at MRY. It is served by Monterey Salinas Transit.
