Monteleone Sabino is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Rieti in the Italian region Latium, located about 45 km northeast of Rome and about 20 km south of Rieti. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,252 and an area of 18.8 km2.[1]

The municipality of Monteleone Sabino contains the frazione (subdivision) Ginestra Sabina.

Monteleone Sabino borders the following municipalities: Frasso Sabino, Poggio Moiano, Poggio San Lorenzo, Rocca Sinibalda, Torricella in Sabina.
