Montague was a railway station on the first significant railway in Australia. The station was closed in 1987 when the Port Melbourne line was converted to light rail. Melbourne tram route 109 now runs through the former location of the station. The station was located to the south of Montague street, between Woodgate Street and Gladstone Lane.
