Monroe Leigh

Monroe Leigh was a prominent political philosopher and diplomat. He served in varying capacities throughout his life, including occupations as a legal adviser for the Defense Department and State Department, NATO mission envoy,and president of the American Society of International Law.. He was a prolific writer on the subject of international law, with his influential criticism of the US's refusal to sign the Statute of Rome being published in 2000, the year before he died.
