Monmouth Mall
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Monmouth Mall, an enclosed shopping center in Eatontown, New Jersey, owned by Vornado Realty Trust, , is the fifth largest in the state. Built on what was then a farm owned by the Valentino Family of the nearby City of Long Branch, Monmouth Mall opened as a 500,000 square foot open-air center on March 1, 1960. The mall was enclosed and expanded to its current size in 1975 and was renovated in 1987 and 1996 adding a 700-seat food court and a 15-screen AMC Theatres. The mall is located near the Garden State Parkway at Exit 105 and NJ 18, and is situated on the corner of the busy intersection of Route 35 and 36, formerly the location of the Eatontown Circle. The mall has a gross leasable area of 1,500,000 ft²[1], making it the fourth largest of all Shopping malls in New Jersey (tied with Willowbrook Mall).
