[edit] Notes, Goofs, and Trivia
- This was the first episode produced in which Billy West provides the voice of Ren (he did his maniacal laugh in previous episodes (because John K. couldn't do it), but this the first time he does all of Ren's lines).
- This episode was very rarely shown on Nickelodeon, but fared better on MTV and Nicktoons Network. It's on "The First and Second Seasons" DVD set and the "In Disguise" video.
- When aired on Nicktoons Network, this aired with The Big Baby Scam.
- The zookeeper in this episode has a Swedish accent.
- First episode which was almost entirely down by Games Animation.

- Ren: All right, Stimpy. It's time for your evolving lessons.
- Stimpy: Oh, rapture!
- Stimpy (singing): I'm gonna be a monkey, monkey, monkey, monkey, monkey, monkey, monkey, monkey, monkey, monkey.
- Ren: OK. If you wanna be a monkey, then you gotta learn to act like a monkey. And I have the know-how, because I've seen every Tarzan movie ever made!
