Monkey Kettle

Monkey Kettle is a poetry, prose and arts magazine based in Milton Keynes. Issues are usually 32 pages in length, printed in black and white and released three times a year. The team behind Monkey Kettle also host regular local arts events.

Since its inception in 1999, Monkey Kettle has made a selling point of mixing the work of local, less experienced writers with that of more established poets. Among those whose work has been included in the magazine are: Andrew Pearson, Barry Tebb (Children of Albion: Poetry of the Underground in Britain); Aoife Mannix (2001 Farrago London Slam Champion) and award-winning visual artist Steve Groom.
