"Monkee Versus Machine" is the third episode of The Monkees television series in its first season. NBC aired it on September 26, 1966 (first-run) and May 22, 1967 (repeat). It reaired October 4 and 25, 1969 January 10 and July 25, 1970 October 9, 1971 on CBS and October 21, 1972 and June 9, 1973 on ABC.

The boys, in need of rent money, apply for jobs - but Peter throws a monkee wrench into the works by flunking a computer-given aptitude test at a computerized toy factory, where a heartless efficiency expert wants to replace an elderly toymaker with automation. He'll have to reckon with the Monkees, who pose as both toy-testing kids - and their moms!
