Monika Jalili

Monika Jalili is a Persian classical vocalist.

Born to a German-Dutch family in the United states, Monika studied music at The Manhattan School of Music. She was a student of Beverley Peck Johnson. She has appeared with such talents as Steve Allen and John Astin, and has performed and been interviewed on Iranian television and radio from studios in Los Angeles and aired worldwide. She sings in several languages Persian, French and English. Her works are based on Persian folk songs and Persian traditional music.
