Mongiana is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Vibo Valentia in the Italian region Calabria, located about 50 km southwest of Catanzaro and about 25 km southeast of Vibo Valentia. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 887 and an area of 20.7 km2.[1]
The municipality of Mongiana contains the frazione (subdivision) Santa Maria.
Mongiana borders the following municipalities: Arena, Fabrizia, Nardodipace, Serra San Bruno, Stilo.
