Mona Mayfair
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Mona Mayfair is a character in several novels by Anne Rice, including Witching Hour, Lasher, Taltos, Blackwood Farm and Blood Canticle. She is the fourteenth witch of the Mayfair clan, and also the Designée of the Mayfair Legacy. She has an obsession with a Shakespearian character named Ophelia. Within the 'great' family she is called the "wander slut", mainly because she has made it a point to sleep with all of her numerous cousins, young and old alike. In the book Blackwood Farm, Lestat makes her into a vampire, so she can live with her true love, Tarquin Blackwood, forever.
