Mona Hofland

Mona Hofland (born November 24, 1929 in Bergen, Norway) is a Norwegian actress.

She had her stage debut at Studioteatret in 1949 and has since built a reputation as a solid versatile actress. She has done numerous famous roles, like Lady Macbeth, the title-roles in Hedda Gabler and The Lady of the Camellias and she was even the first Norwegian Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady.

She is married to actor Espen Skjønberg and the two have co-starred in several productions, most notably as husband and wife in the popular soap-opera Familiesagaen De Syv Søstre (1996-2000).
