Alvi, Mohammed Obaidullah [Mohammed Obaidullah Alvi] is a Journalist, anthropologist, historian, languestic, caligraphist and an interpreter of Holy Quran in [potohari/Dhondi/kareali] languages, spoken in [Murree Hills], [Rawalpindi], [Islamabad], [Galyat], [Circle Bakote], kahoota and Kotli Satian. He born in Kaho Sharqi of Berote Kalan in 8th November 1963. His father was a religious scholar of renouned South Asian Islamic University called [Deoband] and he found a Darul uloom in [Digri Sindh] also. His elder brothers Moalana Ismail Birotvi was 1st teacher of [Berote] vernicular primery school in 1907. The other brother was Moalana Yaqoob Alvi Birotvi was a hero of [Kashmir] [war of independant in 1947]. Mohammed Obaidullah Alvi grand father (mother's father) Seyed Fazal Husain Shah was also a renowned scholar and teacher. His encester and a schollar of Islam Moalana Naik Mohammed migrated from Qummi Koat district [Mazafferabad Azad Kashmir] in 1838 on the invitation of Kamalaal tribe of Berote. Moalana Naik Mohammed constructed 1st masque of UC Berote and offered prayers five time a day. Kamalaal tribe gifted him agriculture land where he constructed houses. Moalana Taj Mohammed was another his brother who also came Berote Kalan and satteled in eastern part of Birote. Mohammed Obaidullah Alvi received his religios education from his father Moalana Mohammed Abdullah Alvi and got his metriculation from GHS Berote, by edeal teachers Afteb Abbasi (father of Molana Khalid Abbasi) Farman Abbasi, Molvi Aziz ur Rehman of Ptikka Azad Kashmir, Khaliq Abbasi, and many others. He was the last student of Intercollege Bakote in FA and he got BA from [Gorden College Rawalpindi] in 1984. He was the editor of college magzin Gordonian. He came [Karachi] in 1985 after sudden death of his father and got admission in [Urdu Arts College Karachi] in 1986 in MA Journalism.
