Molly Aguirre

Molly Aguirre (born September 10, 1984, in Duluth, Minnesota, USA) is a professional snowboarder and member of the U.S. Snowboarding Team, specializing in halfpipe events. She currently lives in Mammoth Lakes, California.

Besides halfpipe, Molly also snowboards slopestyle, grind/rail, and quarter pipe events. She was the first female snowboarder to perform a backside 900 in competition.

Molly's father, Mike Aguirre, taught Molly and her brother Mason to snowboard as children. When the two showed signs of talent, he moved the family from Minnesota to Mammoth Lakes to give them an opportunity to develop their skills. Mason is currently also on the U.S. Snowboarding Team.

Aguirre's first pro event was in 2002. Her current sponsor is Burton Snowboards. Her most recent event was the 2007 Winter X_Games.
