Mollie Hunter (born 1922) is a Scottish writer. Her debut was "The smartest man on Ireland" in 1963. She writes fantasy for childrlen, historical stories for young adults and realistic novels for adults. She won the Carnegie Medal in 1974 for "The Stronghold".
