Communication standart: Moldcell works in GSM standart on frequencies 900 and 1800 Mhz.
Numbering resources: Moldcell network code is 79xxxxxx. In international format numbers have form +37379xxxxxx. Total by January, 1 2007 Moldcell had 1,000,000 telephone numbers in its disposition.
Network code: 259 02, where 259 — Mobile Country Code (MCC) for Moldova, and 02 — Mobile Network Code (MNC) for Moldcell network.
Display on the phone screen: MD Moldcell, Moldcell, MD-02 or 259 02 in dependence from the phone type.

Moldcell company bagan its activity in Moldova on April, 28 2000, beginning the new era in development of the mobile communication of this country. From the beginning the company's main goal was offering leading, oriented on the subscribers' purposes services of the highest quality and for convenient prices.

- Fintur Holdings B.V — 99 % share (58.55 % share of which belongs to TeliaSonera, 41.45 % share belongs to Turkcell)
