"Moi... Lolita" | "L'Alizé" |
"Moi... Lolita" was the debut single by French singer Alizée. It was popular in France, the Netherlands, Greece, Russia, Italy, Germany, Poland and the United Kingdom.
The song was instrumental in showcasing Alizée's image as that of a seductive Lolita character, referring to the novel by Vladimir Nabokov. The video for the single, which incidentally was the first to be filmed on her, showed Alizée as a village girl visiting a night-club.
"Moi... Lolita" was also used in the trailer for Ridley Scott's film A Good Year.
