[edit] Religious festivals
Twice a year, in June and November, there are congregations, attended by millions, held to commemorate Pir Muhammad Qasim's and Pir Nazir Ahmad's work for Islam. Currently, the Sajada Nasheen (the current saint) is Alhaj Pir Haroon ur Rashid. His Holiness presides over all the religious events, and delivers sermons on Islamic teachings twice a week. The June congregation, which is attended by over half a million devotees from around the world, is the biggest of any religious congregation in the country. In the congregation he delivers scholarly sermon that is preceded by recitations of Quran and Naats. His Holines has two sons Shahzada Gohar Nazir and Shahzada Jamal Nazir. Shahzada Gohar Nazir is the named successor who is currently operating a free hospital in Mohra Sharief.
